So why did this one get so unceremoniously memory-holed? Is it because, in spite of its tight script and screwball antics, that it happens to also be one of THE MOST 80’S MOVIES EVER MADE? From the production design and costumes to the music that screams 1986, Ruthless People has been forever unable to escape the gravitational force of the Me Decade to languish in semi-obscurity. Which is a damn shame, and we are here today to wrest it from the pit of Lost VHS Classics!
