No, not “Atomic Blonde.” No, not “Ballerina.” And not “Alias” or “Red Sparrow” or “Black Widow” or… okay, maybe not the most original concept. But before all of these things there was “The Long Kiss Goodnight” - the Geena Davis/Renny Harlin attempt to keep working despite one of Hollywood’s most disastrous bombs the year before (Cutthroat Island).
