Cristo Rey’s mission is to prepare its students for future roles through rigorous academic, professional work experiences, and spiritual development. A primary means to this end is the Work Study Program in partnership with employers in healthcare and other industries. Cristo Rey’s Work Study program has been so successful in creating a sustainable workforce pipeline that it has expanded to 40 schools nationally. Students are especially interested in healthcare fields . . . so Everette shares info on how partnerships with area healthcare providers have helped students begin to find their purpose and path in life, while introducing employers to a new workforce development opportunity.
