“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This is one of the verses that most people know, both inside and even outside the church. We can freely quote it to others, and we think it is generally true. In our hearts we can often hear another voice saying, “I’m not so sure, I think another pair of Vuori shorts might make me feel pretty blessed.” But this promise means it’s from the mouth of Jesus, and we have to trust that Jesus always wants what is best for us. His desire truly is to bring blessings into our lives in all ways, and generosity is one of the ways that blessings flow into our lives.
