Drew sits down with Rev. Anne Holmes and they talk about ordination and why it is important. Rev. Holmes is the first lesbian pastor to be ordained in the United States and offers some important insights into her childhood, call, and eventual ordination in 1982. She is part of the United Church of Christ, which is a partner of Arise Campus Ministry. Next week we continue to hear from Rev. Holmes on her experience, courage, and resilience.
