Community Push is a non-profit organization based in Detroit that focuses on building skateparks with the community, for the community.
On a personal note, I don't know anyone that has done more for their own skate scene than Derrick. He works across all levels of development, from pouring concrete to driving Tony Hawk around the Motor City.
In this episode we cover a range of topics including the most well known Detroit DIY "The Wig", Ryan Sheckler's unpaid debts to Detroit, to how people can improve their own communities.
