Are sweepstakes blocking Indiana igaming regulation?
What is frustrating, she says, is igaming legislation in Indiana stalled while products such as sweepstakes proliferate. And lawmakers aren’t making a distinction between the two, so Ali is battling concerns about advertising and a lack of consumer protection in this grey market.
Ultimately, she says, it’s a matter of consumer protection, and it’s going to be a question of when, not if, Hoosiers can spin the reels online.
