Several years ago, we participated in a stake youth trek at Martin’s Cove in

Wyoming and wrote this song as a tribute to our pioneer forebears who sacrificed so

much to establish the church. The lessons of perseverance, faith and enduring to the

end that sustained the early pioneers are the same lessons that will carry us through

the challenging times ahead.
