Episode 5: Community Composting with Kirk Kunihiro
Update: 2022-01-21
Description
Kirk Kunihiro turned getting into music festivals for free by volunteering on the green team into a career. He now runs Long Beach Community Compost with Celeste Mendez, who unfortunately could not join us for the interview. We chat about the ins and outs of composting in city like Long Beach, his pals the Trash Pirates, and just *what* a job in waste management entails. He also left us with an excellent trash-themed playlist that I would recommend to anyone next time they find themselves rifling through the contents of a dumpster.
