Dr. Deirdre Caputo-Levine is an assistant professor of sociology at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. She earned her doctorate degree from the State University of New York and specializes in prisoner reentry, punishment, critical criminology, among others. She gives insight into the perpetrator’s side of human sex trafficking and the path that leads to becoming a human sex trafficker.
