Description
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - THE FINAL RECKONING sets itself up as the final film in the long running Tom Cruise spy series. Anton and Anders offer their thoughts on the film and how it fits into the legacy of the series. They get into the themes and how the film fits our current moment, with the A.I. villain, “The Entity.” During the conversation they note the film’s many references, not only to other films in the series, but also the James Bond films, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, and THE TERMINATOR. They end the conversation by discussing their ranking of the eight films in the series and where THE FINAL RECKONING fits in.
