At a lodging house in Ospringe, a housewife from the town of Bath, a Knight, and a Physician settle in, after a long and tiresome day’s travel along the road to Canterbury Cathedral. As they rest their weary bones, the Physician has a tale to tell. A tale of medieval fiction blurring into medieval history. A tale of corruption at the heart of Canterbury town, as the local Lord oppresses the peasantry in his search for an artifact that could tear the universe apart. The tale of how he came to be travelling alone, separated from his best friend and his TARDIS. The Time Lord’s Tale…
