Description

In this episode Niamh and Hannah talk to elasmobranch ecologist David Moreno, about his work with shark and skate species in Macquarie Harbour here in Tasmania. The unique and challenging environment of Macquarie Harbour has made the species that inhabit it adapt and become unique from anywhere else in extremely interesting ways.

We discuss how climate change is a huge issue for our marine life and how they are responding to this challenge over time, as well as society’s stereotypical views of sharks and how this is often misleading.
