In this episode we discussed a few topics which have been in the news, including Labour’s budget and in particular the devastating blow to farmers who face being taxed out of existence. We talked about the imprisonment of Tommy Robinson on a contempt of court charge over the showing of his film ‘Silenced’ (link below), and the recent revelations about the man charged with killing three children in Southport. We considered the new ‘pride poppy’ released by the Royal British Legion, and reviewed the Archbishop of Canterbury’s recent interview with Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart. We finished with reading John 8:12 , a reminder that Jesus is the light of the world and if we follow him we will have the light of life.
