Episode #61: Jerry Interviews Dr. Paul Cardon
Update: 2018-12-04
Description
This month’s interview features Silver Level ClearPath Society® Member, Dr. Paul Cardon. We took a different approach this month as I ask Dr. Cardon a couple of question from you, our valued subscribers. We cover about “From 22 Years of Military Service to Success in Private Practice.”
Paul moved to Jefferson City, Missouri after he retired from the Air Force to open a practice. As a 22-year Air Force Veteran (Thank you, Paul and to our other veterans for your service!), civilian dentistry was a little outside his wheelhouse compared to the world’s largest group practice, the military. Paul has experienced a lot during his pursuit on the business side of Dentistry; take a listen and some notes as Dr. Cardon shares his journey from struggling solo practitioner to success!
Just a few of the topics we discuss are:
The biggest, toughest business lessons earned
Reinventing the Business Model
The Role Age Plays in Business
Time Changes but Rarely Does This Burdensome ‘D’ word
Building a Moat or Fence Around Your Patients!
The Importance of Competition
Distinguishing Service
One of my favorites: Saying Less to Close More
And, much, much more. . .
