On this episode, Bridgette, Host of the Rising Youth Podcast, talks with Chaya Kumar, who used her #RisingYouth grant to design a two-part workshop for refugee and immigrant youth with the goal of discussing mental health and cultural assimilation. Participants were given the opportunity to share their stories and experiences coming to Canada, as well as participate in an arts and writing workshop on creative outlets within culture and mental health.
