On this week’s episode we are back on the mic after an exciting weekend seeing friends, past clients and coaching our incredible team of competitors at the NPC Midwest Championships in St Louis!  We’re catching you up on what we’ve been up to: Mandy’s growing farm and Gillian’s prep for her IFBB bikini pro debut in just over a month’s time!

As coaches, we share some insight into how we help our athletes develop confidence for the stage and how preparedness can differ from readiness on your contest prep journey.  We discuss the importance of being able to openly communicate with your coach having trust in them and the process, as well as the value in experience over immediate success in the sport of bodybuilding.  While every athlete dreams of taking home that first place medal, we share our insight on why we feel the emphasis should not be on placings, rather, the personal growth experienced on the journey to the stage!
