They talk about Phil's heavy metal past and the goth band he was once part of, how they both came to know the movie, its influence on Seattle's music scene and various TV shows and movies, and the characters, lines, and songs that stood out to them. (There are several passing mentions to soccer, but they're buried deep in the episode.)
