Today we dive into Taphonomy with Niklas Hohmann, a Ph.D. student in palaeontology who studies how fossils change in time. We discuss which fossils can survive longer and what kind of information they provide about past ecosystems. How do we use this knowledge to preserve the environment? Does human activities and climate change affect our ability to study past ecosystems?
