Tolkien’s beloved The Hobbit to Peter Jackson’s sprawling movie trilogy.

We break down Bilbo’s character arc, the themes of greed and home, the spectacle of the Battle of Five Armies, and why Martin Freeman might be the best thing to come out of it all.
