on the bothering idea, I have found that if I can hold off and not interrupt the folks I don't agree with but instead let them get to their period, or their exclamation point, and then watch all those words dissipate into the air like they were helium balloons, then (1) they feel better with their release, and (2) we are both relieved to get that anxious elephant out of the room which (3) clears the way for real talking. big jazz fan, i am glad I stumbled onto this podcast. thank you.
