On today's show, we recap our trip to the Bahamas, where we were shocked by the amount of ocean pollution that had washed up on shore at Lighthouse Point, an off-the-beaten-path destination on the island of Eleuthera.
We also discuss the global problem of ocean pollution and ocean plastics - specifically, within the context of a recent shipwreck that released an astounding number of toxins and waste into the Indian Ocean, including little plastic pellets called "nurdles".
