Welcome to episode four of Two Black Girls!

We then discuss this year's Grammy Nominations and Macklemore's repeated prescence in rap related categories. We move to talk about recent Scandal episodes and the show's repeated emotional, physical and mental abuse of its women. Inspired by this article on Media Diversified, we discuss our experience of literature in schools and the impact its had on own story telling. We also briefly discuss MLE and how it should be promoted as a component of storytelling rather than banned. We finish with a quick mention of Black history organisations such as Black History Studies and Black History Walks and urge you to support the good work they do. Lastly, we finish with a joint shout out to Nelson Mandela,may he rest in peace and power.
