Our community is moving to Belgium to dive into the diversity of Brussels, home to Vrije Universiteit Brussel (or VUB), one of the founding members of the EUTOPIA alliance. Once a city surrounded by nature, Brussels has become synonymous with the European Union, and a prime example of linguistic diversity.
Our guides in this episode are two professors from VUB, Ann Peeters and Birgit Van Puymbroeck. They have come together to discuss the ways in which Brussels is particularly interesting when we look at it in terms of cultural and linguistic diversity.
