Prosecutors are recommending that Sam Bankman-Fried be sentenced to up to 50 years in prison and fined up to $11 billion for his role in defrauding investors and mishandling billions of dollars worth of customer funds causing the collapse the of crypto exchange FTX in 2022. The defense has urged the District Judge that he spend no more than six and a half years behind bars for his crimes.


FOX's John Saucier speaks with Scott Bessent, CEO for 'Key Square Group', a Greenwich, Charleston and London based partnership founded in 2015, who says Sam Bankman-Fried should not be shown any leniency at his sentencing.
