For Evertonians, there is cause for some hope and optimism at last. With new ownership and a new stadium on the horizon there is the sense that the tide is beginning to turn in the Toffees’ favour.

It comes on the back of the news regarding 777 Partners, the investment firm that had come close to purchasing Everton, now fallen into bankruptcy. Just how much of a narrow escape was it for the Blues. 

In other news, Manchester City have seemingly won a battle in the longstanding war with the Premier League over FFP/PSR. A ruling over APT, Associated Party Transactions went in favour of the sky blue club.
