4:05 pm- On Monday night, eight Senators who caucus with Democrats—Angus King, Tim Kaine, Dick Durbin, John Fetterman, Maggie Hassan, Jeanne Shaheen, and Catherine Cortez Masto—joined Republicans to pass a spending package to end the government shutdown. The final vote in the Senate was 60-40. The House of Representatives is expected to vote on—and pass—the bill later today.
