Expand Energy also lowered its capital spending forecast by $75 million to $2.85 billion. Expand Energy acquired over 82,000 acres of new leasehold and signed a new 15-year supply agreement, positioning itself as the sole gas supplier for Lake Charles Methanol. The company plans to use $500 million to pay down debt in H2 2023 and maintain its regular base dividend of $0.575 per share.
