In this episode, Axel is back on location discovering the Emergency Task Forces premises and talking to the ETF Training Officer Team Leader Craig Ashmen along with different subject-matter experts of the unit to discover some of their trainings, tactics, tools, and strategies that they use during their operations. The ETF Unit has been created to assist the Toronto Police in special emergency responses and operations. Anything from acts of terrorism, barricaded suspects, suicide interventions to persons in crisis, they are mandated to deal with potential violence with a skillset that puts emphasis on de-escalation, communication and peaceful resolutions first.
