She received a BS in chemical engineering, with honors and distinction, from Stanford University, a Masters in Translational Science and doctorate in Molecular Metabolism and Nutrition from the University of Chicago. She has launched products targeting digestive health, the microbiome, and immune health. She has designed and monitored clinical trials resulting in publications on probiotics and prebiotics.
