In 2024, we talked a lot about youth ministry strategies, which is good. But in all our talk of strategy, we can't forget the main thing. We are to grow in our relationship with Jesus through prayer and reading of the Scriptures and teach youth and parents to do the same. These spiritual disciplines are the foundation of our faith and youth ministry. While strategies may change, these foundations will remain constant. We've seen firsthand the transformation that happens when young people engage in prayer and Scripture. It's not always easy to get them excited about it, but once they experience the power and presence of God through these practices, there's no turning back.
