New Cross Learning on New Cross Road are having their annual Auction this coming Saturday 16th November at 7.00pm the target this year is £2500. The last two auctions have been very successfully attended and there is already a buzz about this upcoming event.
You can bid on items as diverse as a Tracey Emin limited edition T-Shirt, an Eileen Cooper Sketching, tea for four with two Lords at the House of Lords, a Holiday in Deal Kent for 5 nights for up to five people, The Nail stock shop on New Cross Road are offering a manicure for two.
Any money raised will go towards paying the rates at this community run centre, which also has a variety of weekly events including a baby bounce group on a Tuesday morning and a weekly poetry group that meet on Thursday evening from 5.30pm.
New Cross Learning are anxious that people support them, come along have some fun and try to grab a bargain. You can still come even if you don’t want to bid.
