Description
Leon Ruhl is the Fast Track 2 Employment Senior Transitions Co-ordinator for Hastings Secondary College in Port Macquarie – working across 2 large campuses of high school students. Leon in 2020 is working with a cohort of Year 11 students to build their work readiness skills for them to make an early transition into the workplaces of our local businesses by the end of 2020. We hear from Leon and his program called FT2E working to link students to workplaces in the local area, and build their communication skills, their accountability skills and their understanding of contemporary workplaces to get them ahead of the rest in the high stakes of youth employment.
