Fear, Patience and Encouragement

Charlie Kirk was assassinated yesterday. Yesterday was a hard day for obvious reasons. Spiritually I was hurt, emotionally I was hurt, mentally I was hurt, all over I was hurt by what happened on 9/10/25.
I do believe fear is what is desired in all of this by who did this yesterday and in moments like this I believe it matters most to focus above, pray and lean in to the warmth of God. The love of our father in heaven and tell him, tell him you’re afraid, you’re hurting, grieving, he will always listen, understand, and give wisdom, encouragement and love.
I don’t want to live in fear or be overwhelmed with weight of dread, I want to continue to be a light for Christ, and although this is an NFL, CFB and Fantasy Football show, let it be known I am a Christian and first and foremost trust in Jesus. In these times we need his love and hope.
Trust in him, pray, and let’s move through this together.
