Interview with Cassandra Carruth our new Wine Director.

After an extensive search and interview process, we are proud to announce Cassandra Carruth as our new Wine Director.

Many of you may recognize Cassandra from events at the store or from her time working at the Niche Hospitality Group as their Wine Director.

Cassandra’s wine experience began 12 years ago while working at a restaurant in Central Florida. When she moved back to Massachusetts, she started working in hotels as a buyer throughout central MA. After landing at the Niche Hospitality Group, she worked her way up to becoming their Wine Director. While there she continued gaining experience and extensive knowledge, focusing on food and wine pairings, through monthly wine dinners at The People’s Kitchen and Bocado Worcester. She gained even more experience on trips to California, Oregon, Spain, and Portugal.

Now that she has joined the Julio’s Family, Cassandra hopes to help educate others in the world of wine, while being an ambassador for wine makers and their labor of love.
