It already feels like summer here in Georgia, and our latest Funky House release, Funky House Heat, brings the heat right to you. This episode packs a serious punch, overflowing with modern-day House bangers alongside classic Disco House that sets the mood perfectly.

We kick things off with a fresh take on a 90s House favorite: Jamiroquai's "Space Cowboy" gets a vibrant update by Michael Gray in his "Good Vibe" remix. It keeps the original spirit alive while feeling fresh for the 21st century. Of course, Funky House Heat wouldn't be complete without some seductive vibes. The Shapeshifters deliver with "Body Music," featuring a familiar sample from the timeless House classic "Body To Body (Keep In Touch)" by Shades of Love. It's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.



Peak Hour Dance Floor Sweat



Ready to lose yourself in the heat? This episode features several peak-hour heavy-hitters. DJ Minx's "Don't Do It To Me," Earth n Days' and "The Kinda Love" (CASSIMM remix) are floor-scorchers. "NRG" by Many Few, which holds true to its namesake featuring what sounds like a sample of Loleatta Holloway but don't hold us to that — is pure FIRE!

Funky House Heat doesn't forget its Disco roots. Dr Packer and Purple Disco Machine, two legendary names, bring the heat, while Sofi Tukker's "One On One" (a personal favorite) gets a remix treatment from the 70s Disco master, Cerrone.







Throwbacks with a Message



We love a good throwback, and this episode features two gems. Kyle Watson's modern take on the Funk classic "Low Rider" by War is a surprising hit, paying homage to Chicano culture while keeping dance floors moving. Brothas & Sistas' "Without Love" is a Funky House reimagining of the Doobie Brothers' "Long Train Running," transformed into a powerful call for unity in these divided times.
