The pandemic, and the cost of complying with on-set safety rules, have prompted many filmmakers to explore various strategies for remote production, from directing in another location all the way to remotely operating cameras and lights. In this panel, we’ll talk to filmmakers experienced in remote film and video production about the strategies and gear they use to achieve high production quality while keeping the number of people on set to a minimum.
