Melissa originally bought the land as a flower farm, and after growing that business to include weddings and a CSA, she added the Tanglebloom Cabin. Originally built by her husband, in just a couple weeks, for the two of them, launching it on AirBNB turned into an additional revenue stream she didn’t see coming. Seven years later it has grown not only in its popularity, earning the award of one of AirBNB’s most wish-listed properties, but also in what it offers its guests. In this episode we talk about how Melissa has found success in a niche market, and how she has used guest feedback to improve not only the experience but also the yearly revenue.
