Fiona Steinert: co-founder & programme development, Radio ORANGE 94.0
Description
INDEPENDENT COMMUNITY RADIO IS AT RISK
Radio ORANGE 94.0 (Vienna) — one of Europe’s long-standing community radio stations — is facing an uncertain future. After a sudden funding cut by the City of Vienna, only short-term emergency support for 2026 has been secured. The long-term survival of the station remains at risk.
Last night on Ženergija, we spoke about why feminist, anti-racist, and community-based media spaces matter — especially now. Great guest was Fiona Steinert, so listen carefully.
