Description

During Tuesday’s meeting, the Caldwell County Fiscal Court approved a resolution for the Industrial Building #4 project and discussed surplus action for old Health Department property.

Judge Executive Kota Young explained that adopting the resolution paves the way for transferring funds to the Princeton-Caldwell County Industrial Development Authority Special Purpose Government Entity to cover expenses for the Industrial Building #4 project.

District 2 Magistrate Jeff Boone made a motion to proceed with the resolution, which was seconded by District 4 Magistrate Jeff Simms. During the discussion, District 3 Magistrate Brent Stallings noted that if the property can be sold for $15,000, his main concern is addressing housing, which he stated is the county’s greatest need.
