Cristy 'Code Red' Nickel is the author of The Code Red Revolution." She was a professional boxer and also landed a coaching role on MTV's hit series "MADE." She has written thousands of nutrition programs and has worked with clients from all over the world.

In this episode, Cristy 'Code Red' Nickel joins the show and reveals the top three biggest lies around weight loss:

  1. You have to exercise to lose weight. 
  2. You have to eat low fat to lose fat.
  3. You have to eat many little meals a day.

 

Mindset is everything. Cristy focuses 100% on mindset. She emphasizes having a strong why. "You have to have a why that makes you cry."

 

Cristy explains how she takes time to help children understand the importance of healthy eating. Children are watching their parents all the time. If we educate our children and give them a choice on what they can eat, they will take more ownership over what is going into their bodies. 

 

Later, Cristy explains the story behind her nickname, 'Code Red.'

 

Plus, Cristy describes the importance behind The Code Red Protocol & how it helps servicemen. Many first responders are overweight. The protocol is real food, water, and sleep. The responders have to go from zero to one-hundred in seconds. We need to take care of our cops, and Cristy's protocol is the better way.
