A few weeks ago, Focus LBK did our first on site studio at the Guadalupe-Parkway Neighborhood Center, aka “Sommerville”. The young people we spoke to were all intelligent, thoughtful and engaging to the extent that it actually gave us a better feeling about the future of this country.
We met the Senior Program Director, Dalexae Johnson, and were immediately intrigued to see such a young man being so obviously successful and at home in his position of leadership.
Needless to say, we invited him on to the show and had and just really broke down all the excellent programs Sommerville Center offers to the community.
