The contribution of Indigenous people to Australian life is seen through sport perhaps more prominently than in any other field. And, within sport, Indigenous Australians are particularly prominent through rugby league. This weekend [[3 Oct-6 Oct]] will see the largest annual gathering of Indigenous people in the country at the New South Wales Koori knockout rugby league tournament. It's a sporting competition... but also, so much more.
