Michael Barlow knows all about patience. He missed out multiple times before Fremantle gave him a shot at the big time. Chatting with Adam Papalia on Bouncing Around, Michael talks about the emotion of finally getting drafted after missing out so many times.
"My name popped up...I waited for about a minute, a minute and half (to talk to mum standing beside me). I'll never forget that. It was enormously satisfying and to share it with Mum was absolutely outstanding."
Michael went on to play for both the Dockers and the Suns and will have a role with Werribee in the VFL for season 2019.
