Anne Finucane is the first woman to have served as Vice Chair at Bank of America, and Chair, Bank of America Europe -- where she drove the company’s ground- breaking $1 trillion environmental business initiative as part of a broad strategic portfolio. Recognized globally as a pioneer in climate finance, she now serves as Senior Advisor to TPG Rise Climate Fund and as Chair of Rise Climate’s carbon credit company, Rubicon Carbon.

During her long career at Bank of America, she also led the company’s strategic positioning, climate finance work, and public policy efforts. She established and co- chaired the company’s Sustainable Finance Committee, deploying capital to help accelerate the transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy. Anne also chaired the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, which during her tenure deployed more than $4 billion in philanthropic giving. Earlier in her tenure at the bank, Anne oversaw marketing, communications and data analytics, and she is widely credited with leading Bank of America’s successful efforts to repair its reputation after the 2008 financial crisis. Anne serves as a board member or advisor to a number of leading organizations. She is a member of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board, appointed by President Biden in 2022; Bank of America’s Global Advisory Council; the Global Leadership Council for the Rockefeller Foundation's Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, and the Council on Foreign Relations. She is a board member of CVS Health, Williams-Sonoma, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Special Olympics, ONE, and water.org. Anne has consistently been highlighted in the world’s “most powerful women” lists in Forbes, Fortune, and American Banker. In 2021, she received the Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence, and in 2019 she received the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for Inspired Leadership Award and was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Hall of Fame.
