Francesco Mengascini, son of Arnaldo Mengascini who founded Beltuna Accordions, is an accordion manufacturer, innovator and the current owner of the company.

On this episode we talk about how Beltuna Accordions came into existence, its philosophy of innovation, some of the improvements they have made to the traditional accordionists, their new Beltuna Matrix and its vast possibilities, their plans for the future and much more!

It was fascinating to sit down and talk to someone who spends most of his time thinking about how to improve our instrument and solve problems related to it. As musicians we do the same with regards to the music we learn and bring on stages and finding this parallel with an accordion manufacturer was very interesting for me. Hear it for yourselves!
