She made the quarterfinals of the Brisbane International, a tournament she once worked at as a player liaison while battling an elbow injury that had her questioning her future in the sport. How has she turned her fortunes around and how will she approach the Australian summer of tennis to come? We ask her coach and father, John Birrell.
