Friday Fast Five: Staying Safe While Traveling

It may sound simple: "be careful."
However, when you are in a new destination and trying to find your way around via Google Maps or have enjoyed a night out with an abundance of wine...it's not so simple, is it?
As a previous solo traveler, I am outlining the guidelines that I held myself to while traveling to foreign destinations in order to stay as safe as possible.
