The Mohawk Valley saw more openings than closings overall. El Jarocho, a popular Mexican restaurant in Rome, has flourished enough to expand beyond the Copper City with a new site in New Hartford. And a clothing boutique has ambitiously moved into the space previously occupied by the beloved Twin Orchards.
