She is the founder of Black in Travel®, and Black Card Elite Concierge Services — a portfolio of purpose-driven brands that center Black travelers, LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and community-led experiences across the globe.

A former single mom and Section 8 recipient from Boston, Nubia launched her first travel event in Mexico with just $300 during the pandemic. What began as a simple beach brunch grew into a viral movement — and today, she has curated over 1,000 events for more than 50,000 guests worldwide.

Her mission is rooted in freedom, cultural connection, and building safe spaces for joy and wellness. She is a proud member of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) and sits on its Intersectionality Committee.
